since we get alot of new customers who are new and therefore not so familiar with the VPN Activation world, we decided to create a Youtube video , to make it more easy.

Our new VPN Method / Instruction on how to activate your RU Keys in Steam. Enjoy.

VPN Activation (RU Keys):

HOW TO ACTIVE THE RUSSIAN KEYS YOURSELF BY USING OUR NEW VPN TOOL  

1. Download:

2. Quit Steam.

3. Install OpenVPN.

4. Go inside the config folder where you installed OpenVPN. (C:Program Files (x86)OpenVPN/config)

5.  Exctract “config_gk4u.zip” into the config folder.

6.  On your desktop: 
Right Click on the “OpenVPN GUI.exe” Icon. Go to, properties, compatibilityand set “Run as Administrator” (Important!)

7.  Start OpenVPN GUI

8. Righ Click on the OpenVPN Logo on the system tray.

9. Choose one of the Russian Servers and click “Connect”.

10. Wait till the Connection build up and then Open Steam.

11. Activate the Key

12. After the Activation you close the VPN Connection

13. Restart Steam with your normal IP and download your Game.

How to download and play region blocked steam games

Written Instruction

2. Please Note for Downloading the Game:

In order to download the game, you will need to download it 1 time with a Russian IP. (Same procedure as step 1) As soon as the actual download starts you should Exit Steam. After that you Cancel the VPN Connection.

After that you start Steam again (normally) . You now see that in Steam at the bottom of the window that there is "1 Item Downloading" and the download is continuing and finishing with your normal IP.

3. In order to play/start the Game without VPN, please follow these Instructions:

After you downloaded the Game, you must start the game the first time with VPN. Only 1 time. After that you follow this instruction, so you dont need to do it again.
 

1. Start Steam.

2. Go to your Games Library and Right-click on your Game.

3. Create a shortcut on your Desktop

4. Go to your Desktop make a right click on your created shortcut, and note the number which is displayed at the end of the link 
(e.g. 202310)

5. You go into your game folder:

....Steam/SteamApps/common/your game/  

In that folder you create a textfile with the name: steam_appid.txt (Be aware that you dont have ".txt" twice)

6. Just paste the noted number inside your steam_appid.txt and save it.

7. Copy the texfile and paste it ALSO inside the folder where the game application .exe is hiding. (/bin, /system etc.)

8. Now you enter Steam again and go to “add a non-steam game to my    library”.

9. Now browse and choose from your game installation path 
(inside the folder "system") the “.exe” file.

10. Now in your Steam Library  shows up “your game”, just double click on it, and "your game" starts without VPN.

11. The Short-cut you created in the beginning on your desktop, can be deleted if you want.

Guide to play Risen 2 Dark Waters without VPN

Guide to play Risen 2 Dark Waters without VPN:

Please use the following instructions, you must first normally activate with VPN. Then you download it with the VPN (same proceedure as activating with VPN)
After downloading you must follow STEP 3 in order to play without VPN.

1.VPN Activaton (Russian Keys)

6.      Just write the noted number inside your steam_appid.txt

7.      After that, you must set your File to write-protected.

8.      Now you enter Steam again and go to “add a non-steam game to my library”.

9.      Now browse and choose from your Risen2 installation path the “risen.exe”.

10.   Now in your Steam Library  shows up “risen2”, just double click on it , and Risen2 starts without VPN.

11. The Short cut you created in the beginning on your desktop, you can delete that now if you want.

Gamekeys4u.net - How to play Ridge Racer Unbounded without VPN

6.      Just write the noted number inside your steam_appid.txt

7.      After that, you must set your File to write-protected.

8.      Now you enter Steam again and go to “add a non-steam game to my library”.

9.      Now browse and choose from your Ridge Racer installation path the “RRU.exe”.

10.   Now in your Steam Library  shows up “RRU”, just double click on it , and Ridge Racer starts without VPN.

11. The shortcut you created in the beginning on desktop, you can delete that now if you want.
